A film about corporate take overs, buy outs, small companies vs. giant corporations, good vs. evil, people vs. money told in the most uninteresting story possible.
A glow stick maker is failing. It is discovered that the companies product can be used to let farmers know when a cow is ‘in heat’ and can be fertilized as that is a small window. The company is offered a huge sum of money to sell the company and technology. You watch as the 5 partners change with the prospect of a huge sum of money becoming theirs.
Boring characters, predictable plot, un interesting ending. Nice Karaoke. Based on a true story. And if I ever do something that merits being turned into a film and it comes out this uninteresting and downright boring, I will take careers. I wish this film had Zombies in it.
Just as the business which Steve helped create, American Lightsticks, is on the brink of collapse, a huge ‘deal’ suddenly materializes, and he and his partners are sure that their lives have changed forever. A true-to-life comedy inspired by actual events.
