This was a nice predictable romantic comedy. You knew the minute you met the roommates what would happen, but the journey getting there was nice to watch.
Does 30 seem a little young to have a suicide pact if you haven’t found true love? Don’t most people make the cut off 40 these days? Of course, 40 is the new 30 and this movie is over 10 years old, so maybe that was it.
A very young Scarlett Johansson appears in the film as one of the art students/advice getters. Some sweet kids, some messed up adults. Bwick? Fun part played by Ben Stiller. I think the only part I have ever enjoyed him in more is Zoolander.
This isn’t a great film, but it could be date film. Especially if someone is trying to giver a close friend a hint I suppose.
Joe and Lucy are roommates and best friends. Lucy, whose love life is embarrassingly dull, convinces Joe, who is infatuated with a neighbor he’s never met, that if they don’t have stable romances within a month, they must jump off the Brooklyn Bridge.
