We are avid movie watchers. We both went to film school. We both love film.
Our goal for 2008 was to average a movie a day. And we made it and beat it by 2 films. For 2009 we would like to possibly hit 365 films, but are ok if we don’t make it. This might be the year of quality over quantity.
Cherie’s goal is to see every film on the AFI 100 (2007 list).
Frank will watch almost any film.
We watch all of these movies on Cable. We do not have a Net Flix account or a local video store. Cable packages we have include HBO, Showtime, Starz, Encore, IFC, TCM, and The Movie Channel. We also get some classic or older films from the town library. At the beginning of every month, we program in the movies we want to watch into our DVR. We keep a list of movies of interest and see if they are showing.

From one movie watcher to another: have you guys seen The Fall by Tarsem? Totally under the radar, but it’s a great film. I highly recommend it.
