Great voice cast in this sweet film about “Monsters” that defeat the aliens and save the world. The 3D thing is a bit overdone and really irrelevant when watching it on a television. But none of the effects were bothersome.

When a meteorite from outer space hits a young woman and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years.
Anna Faris was VERY committed to this role. It was quite amusing in a ‘watch the stoner’ way. We were looking for something lighter considering the last movie we watched was about Auschwitz. This fit the bill. A stoner wanders through town getting into trouble and learns nothing from it.

After a young actress unknowingly eats her roommate’s pot cupcakes, her day becomes a series of misadventures. (note: she was already stoned when she ate the cupcakes)
Amusing. Not as bad as we thought it would be. Josh Flitter was a stand out. Every couple that wants to get married should probably go through one of these courses with Robin Williams.

Two women troubled with guy-problems swap homes in each other’s countries, where they each meet a local guy and fall in love.
Film about a sad man who is losing everything. David Schwimmer is actually pretty good in this.
