I understand why this film won Oscars. Great story, great acting, well paced, visually interesting. I cared about these people. I didn’t want the ending I knew was coming to happen.
Penn was understated and really inspiring in this part. But then he is a really great actor.
And after vowing to never watch another Van Sant film after Last Days, I am glad we gave this one a watch.

The story of Harvey Milk, and his struggles as an American gay activist who fought for gay rights and became California’s first openly gay elected official.
Well, this is the third in a trilogy that pretty much is a formula for a happy Disney franchise. Same as the other 2, but with a graduation and prom. Lots of singing, dancing, putting on a show and setting up for the possibility of continuing the franchise.
Nothing special, nothing disappointing. Consistent music, acting. If you liked the first 2, you will like this one (and all the others that are most likely coming).

Because if you see the first one, you HAVE to see the sequel. NAMASTE!!!

During the summer vacations a talent show is organized in a local country club and Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad and Taylor take part in it.
This Disney powerhouse film was pretty fun. Obviously made for the preteen and excessively young teen set. Infectious music. If you don’t find yourself singing along with something at some point, you are out of touch with your lighter side.
We actually saw the school here do the stage play of this before we saw as a film. We recognized little of the music between the two.
