This sweet film is basically “My Best Friend’s Wedding” from the guys point of view. Another film where someone realizes they are in love with their best friend.
Nothing spectacular, but completely enjoyable. The rivalry between one of the bridesmaids and the Patrick Dempsey character is fun, especially the kilt. Tom’s friends helping him be the best Maid of Honor he can be is also silly fun, especially when they are putting together wedding shower baskets.
The lessons learned in these films is to speak up earlier than when the other person has a fiancee’.
The is the second film we saw this weekend with two members of the cast of Grey’s Anatomy in it. this one had McDreamy and Dr. PTSD (as the terribly wealthy and wonderful Scottish fiancee’). The first was the Chief and Alex in Liberty Heights – though they weren’t in a scene together.
